A Securely Anchored Prosthesis Replaces Loose Dentures
The ideal solution for patients uncomfortable with removable dentures. Anchored on 2–4 implants, your prosthesis no longer slips, drops or moves. A new life with removable cleaning, a more affordable cost and full bite power.
Secure Hold, Removable Cleaning
An implant-supported prosthesis (overdenture) is a denture attached with special connection systems onto 2–4 implants placed in the jawbone. Unlike a classic removable denture it needs no adhesive — it won't slip or drop. It stays put while eating or speaking.
Unlike fixed prostheses, it is removable for cleaning. You can take it out at night to clean and put it back in the morning, making oral hygiene very easy. It is also a more affordable solution than fully fixed implant treatment.
- Patients unhappy with their current removable denture
- Those who don't want to use denture adhesive
- Patients for whom fully fixed implant treatment is hard on budget
- Edentulous patients who have lost all their teeth
How Is an Implant-Supported Prosthesis Made?
Comfortable treatment step by step, from planning to the permanent prosthesis.
Exam & Planning
The jawbone is assessed in 3D with CBCT tomography. The number of implants (2 or 4), their positions and the attachment type are planned.
Day 1Implant Surgery
Under local anaesthesia, 2–4 implants are placed in your jaw. With the minimally invasive technique the procedure takes an average of 30–60 minutes.
Day 1–2Temporary Denture
While the implants fuse with the bone you wear a temporary denture. You never go without teeth and your social life is not affected.
ThroughoutPermanent Prosthesis
After 2–4 months the permanent prosthesis is mounted on the implants with special attachments (locator, bar or ball).
After 2–4 MonthsSo Much More Than a Classic Denture
The cleaning convenience of a removable denture with the hold of a fixed prosthesis. A smart solution combining the best of both worlds.
Won't Slip or Drop
Gripping the implants firmly, the prosthesis won't move while eating, speaking or laughing. No adhesive needed.
Removable for Cleaning
Take it out at night to clean and put it back in the morning. Oral hygiene is far easier to maintain.
Affordable Cost
More economical than fully fixed implant treatment (All-on-4/6). Budget-friendly since 2–4 implants are enough.
300% Stronger
Bite force is roughly tripled compared with a removable denture. You can comfortably bite hard foods, vegetables, even an apple.
Stops Bone Loss
The implants stimulate the jawbone and stop it shrinking, preventing facial collapse and preserving a youthful look.

Common Questions About the Implant-Supported Prosthesis
The questions asked most often before deciding on treatment.
All-on-4 is a fully fixed solution; the prosthesis is screwed onto the implants and the patient cannot remove it. An implant-supported prosthesis (overdenture) is a solution the patient can take out and put back, while still gripping firmly thanks to the implants. It is removable for cleaning, more affordable, and usually 2–4 implants are enough.
For the lower jaw, 2 implants are usually enough, while 4 are preferred for the upper jaw to provide more hold. The number is determined by your bone structure, bite force and the chosen attachment system.
The prosthesis attaches to the implants with special connection systems (locator, bar or ball). These systems click into place and provide a very firm hold. It won't move while eating, speaking or laughing. It comes out only under your control and won't drop otherwise.
You can take your prosthesis out before bed and clean it with a special denture brush. Cleaning both the prosthesis and the implants separately maintains oral hygiene. One of the biggest advantages of this treatment is cleaning convenience — you can easily reach areas you can't with fixed prostheses.
In some cases it is possible to modify your existing denture to make it compatible with the implants. However, a new prosthesis is usually recommended for longevity and an optimal fit. The assessment is made during your examination.
The first trip needs 3–5 days: examination, 3D planning, implant surgery and fitting a temporary denture. A second trip of 5–7 days is needed 2–4 months later for the permanent prosthesis. Our coordinator arranges your flight and accommodation planning.
No. You feel no pain during surgery performed under local anaesthesia. The procedure takes 30–60 minutes for 2–4 implants. There may be mild sensitivity afterwards, easily managed with painkillers. Most patients return to normal life within 2–3 days.
